DIY Ironstone

I LUUUUUVVVE the look of Ironstone, but can't always find it. . .



So timeless, and easy to interchange with just about anything. . .




Simple, beautiful, elegant. . .adding the perfect vintage touch


. . .wanna know my secret?


One coat of white primer, and two light coats of high gloss white.

  23. I saw your post featured at "Cowgirl Up" party...congratulations! I am going to try your paint suggestions. I sprayed some Dollar Tree items with white appliance spray paint last year to make them look like milk glass...it has held on so well. For a copy cat challenge at Debbie Doos blog this week (trying to make plastic bottles look like old milk bottles)I couldn't find the appliance paint but had to grab a product by Krylon that is a primer and top coat in one...so far it is sticking also. You have so many good tutorials on you sidebar...I am going to come back when I have more time and see those also.
